INGREDIENTS:
Organic Shea Butter, Butyrospermum parkii; extracted from the seeds of the Karite nut trees growing in the semi arid Savannah of Central and West Africa.Taking up to 20 years to fruit, the butter contains beneficial fats that help to promote cell regeneration and circulation, making it a wonderful healer for troubled, ageing and dry skin. Also said to contain natural sun protectants expensive and highly sought after in skincare. Sometimes called “Womens’ gold” because extracting the butter from the nuts gives employment to 1000’s of rural African women.
Cocoa Butter, Cacao theobroma; a hard aromatic butter from the roasted seeds of the Cacao tree [Theobroma nucifera]. Stable, high in saturated fats; softens, lubricates skin, acts as a water repellent. Contains 5IU of Vit E per ounce.
Organic Beeswax; sourced where possible from the Waitakere Ranges.
Organic Jojoba Oil, Simmondsia chinensis; a liquid wax produced from the seed of the Jojoba plant. Unrefined, a beautiful clear gold colour. Chemically very stable. Wax esters like those in Jojoba oil make up15% of the skin’s sebum. Forms a protective barrier on the skin and has moisturising, emollient, healing properties.
Organic Coconut Oil, Cocos nucifera; extracted from the meat of the mature coconut; moisturises and softens the skin.
Organic Avocado Oil, Persea gratissima; a superb penetrating oil containing Vitamins A, B1,B2, B5,D and E. Deeply nourishing. Perfect for sensitive, mature, dry skin.
Organic Macadamia Oil, Macadamia integrifolia; very stable, used in France as an aid against sunburn. Rich in palmitoleic acid found in sebum. Fatty acids help maintain the skin’s water barrier functions; nourishing, emollient, toning.
Amiox; a unique Rosemary extract from Essential Therapeutics, a potent antioxidant.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: Warm a little between the palms of the hands and apply to face and body.
